Artificial Intelligence as a New Dimension of Information Threats

The problem of artificial intelligence (AI) has become not only scientific but also practical, requiring a thoughtful approach on the part of both states and the international community. The article examines the main sources of information threats, as well as analyzes the emergence of a new dimension of such threats in the face of artifi-cial intelligence, since today there is a clear shift in emphasis. Thus, traditionally the main source of information threats was a human being, but at the present stage the computer itself acts as a subject of making potentially dangerous decisions for mankind. Existential risks associated with the development of AI are analyzed. The SWOT-analysis of the accelerated development of artificial intelligence for both individual states and the inter-national community is also presented.
