Research Progress of Carbon Emissions Assessment Techniques and Influencing Factors under the Perspective of Sustainable Buildings: An Example of Prefabricated Buildings
Against the backdrop of the “dual-carbon” strategy, prefabricated buildings have gained significant attention and promotion for their capacity to maximize material efficiency, achieve a green circular economy, and minimize carbon emissions. This study focuses on prefabricated buildings as the subject of investigation. It gathers, examines, and evaluates the pertinent literature on approaches for assessing carbon emissions and the factors that influence them. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the commonly used methods for assessing carbon emissions in prefabricated buildings. It also thoroughly examines and analyzes the various approaches used to investigate the factors that influence carbon emissions. Additionally, it assesses the feasibility of assessment techniques and research methods in the field of carbon emissions in the study of prefabricated buildings. Based on the aforementioned study, a sustainable development strategy is formulated to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption. This strategy aims to address the need for energy conservation and emissions reduction.
