Research on Implementation Strategies for Urban Old Residential Area Renovation from the Perspective of “Micro Renewal”

In the context of urban renewal, the reconstruction of old residential areas has become an important part of urban renewal and development. Based on the current situation of urban old residential areas, the paper analyzes the difficulties in the transformation process of old residential areas and explores the connotation of “micro renewal” and the key content of old residential area transformation. Specific implementation strategies are proposed from the perspectives of investment and financing models, policy and planning systems, evaluation systems, public participation, low-carbon environmental protection, and cultural characteristics, in order to achieve the transformation of old residential areas into modern residential areas.
