The article examines the types and strategies of adaptation of Russian business to external challenges in 2022–2023 using the example of one of the largest transport and logistics companies. The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and the sanctions pressure imposed after the start of the SVO on the activities of Rus-sian companies are analyzed. The study is based on 30 semi-formalized interviews with company employees and demonstrates that previously completed adaptation during the pandemic contributed to a faster response to new challenges. The main types of adaptation include organizational changes, restructuring of business pro-cesses, searching for new markets and the use of domestic technologies.
