Designing a Service-Oriented Platform on Digital Campus Using SCSE Framework

Digital transformation in higher education encourages the use of technology as a key element in supporting academic operations and services. This research aims to design and model a service-based platform for digital campuses by utilizing service-oriented approach and web services through REST API. This approach enables the automation of business processes through IT services, enhances IT service innovation, and ensures good integration between the learning management system and the academic information system in accordance with applicable regulations. The method used in this research is the application of SOA with the SCSE framework up to the modeling stage. The evaluation results show that the designed platform adheres to SOA principles, with evaluation metrics including a reusability factor of 3.64, a complexity factor value of 0.00764, a cohesion factor value of 0.965, and a coupling factor value of 0.0073.
