Cancer-specific cut-offs of treatment initiation delay and assessment of their associated variables: a research concern
The study by Halder et al. to appraise the prevalence, determinants, and trends of the Time of Treatment Initiation (TTI) among cancer patients in India is a timely effort to address a crucial phase of cancer management.1 Thus, the purpose of this comment is to highlight the concern for standardizing cancer-specific criteria of treatment initiation delay and assessment of their associated variables.
