Research on optimal control method of hydraulic power source efficiency of electric excavator

Most traditional excavators use load independent flow distribution (LUDV) system. Due to the limitation of engine speed regulation characteristics, the control mode of constant speed and variable displacement is generally adopted. When multiple actuator parts work at the same time, flow saturation is easy to occur. The motor in the electric excavator has good speed regulation characteristics. In order to reduce the flow saturation and consider the low efficiency of the variable pump in the low displacement area, the dynamic optimization of the dual control energy efficiency of the pump valve is conducted, the reasonable and efficient working interval of the motor and pump displacement is found, the efficiency optimization control method is studied, and the simulation model is established for simulation analysis. Set up a test prototype for the test, the test data show that the electro-hydraulic power source efficiency optimization control strategy to reduce the whole machine operation energy consumption technology principle is feasible, the swing working condition has a good energy-saving effect, can reduce energy consumption by more than 10%, backsliding trenching conditions, in the case of consistent efficiency, the energy-saving effect of about 8%. The optimization principle and control method of electro-hydraulic power source efficiency have been explored and verified to be universal for electric excavators.
