Cloud-based Collaborative Fire Alarm System for Laboratories

Ensuring the safety of laboratory staff and property is an important part of campus construction. This paper establishes a cloud-based collaborative laboratory fire alarm system based on sensor technology, embedded technology, WIFI technology and wireless communication technology. The system deploys sensors such as temperature and humidity, flame, alcohol, carbon monoxide, PM2.5, etc., and also carries OpenMV vision module, and the master control uses ESP8266 wireless communication module to form a wireless network. The collected sensor data is uploaded to the host computer via MQTT protocol, which analyses the data and determines the safety status of the lab, and the user is able to dynamically adjust the sensor thresholds on the host computer side to achieve remote monitoring. This system can handle alarms and fires according to the laboratory environment, which not only can detect abnormalities in the laboratory environment but also can deal with them quickly, and has a very broad application prospect.
