Detection of cable termination stress cone lap defects by microwave reflection method
In this paper, a microwave reflection method is proposed to detect the lapping defects of cable terminal stress cones, and theoretical modeling and simulation analysis of cable terminal stress cone lapping defects are carried out, and it is concluded that the reflection coefficients S11 are significantly different under the conditions of normal lapping and misaligned lapping. Finally, based on this principle, an experimental platform was built to take the cold-shrink termination of 10 kV single-core cross-linked cables as the experimental object, and it was found that S11 was not the same under different lap conditions, which verified the feasibility of the method.
