Comparison of the Effectiveness of Methods for Eliminating Interuser Interference in MU-MIMO LEO Satellite
This paper investigates the effectiveness of inter-user interference cancellation algorithms in a low earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation with multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO). One of the important problems of systems with multi-user MIMO is the problem of inter-user interference suppression. This problem is particularly relevant for LEO satellite constellations due to the small spatial diversity and high spatial correlation. Within the scope of this paper, a comparative analysis of the performance of inter-user interference cancellation algorithms such as Block Diagonalization Zero Forcing and Dirty Paper Coding (DPC) has been carried out. For realistic channel modelling, the QuaDRiGa stochastic channel model generator developed at Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich Hertz Institute, HHI was used [1], [2].
