Influence of Behavioral and Sociodemographic Factors on Dental Caries in Mexican Children
Our study revealed deficient eating habits and a high prevalence of dental caries among children aged 6-12. Additionally, parents and guardians demonstrated insufficient knowledge about general oral health issues, the risk factors for caries, and their potential consequences, which means a need for both preventive and corrective treatments. This highlights the need for strategies focused on improving oral health care and prevention.
