PROGNOSIS OF PREGNANCY IN WOMEN WITH INFERTILITY DUE TO ENDOMETRIOSIS USING A MATHEMATICAL MODEL AND LAPAROSCOPIC SURGERY
parameters, rats from the experimental groups were withdrawn from the experiment at different periods of the study.Metabolic changes were examined on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th days of the study.Rats of the sixth group were administered 1.2 mg/kg of body weight of the animal with a solution of cadmium chloride for 28 days and, in order to correct pathological changes caused by cadmium, melatonin (Vita-Melatonin, OJSC Kyiv Vitamin Plant, Ukraine) was administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 3.0 mg/kg of body weight for 10 days (from the 19th to the 28th day of the study). The obtained data indicate that the administration of cadmium chloride was accompanied by an intensification of lipoperoxidation processes, which was manifested by an increase in the content of diene conjugates and malondialdehyde in lung homogenates at all study periods and indicated the development of oxidative stress. The first two weeks of the study were characterized by an intensive accumulation of lipid peroxidation products, on the 21st day a slight decrease in the content of diene conjugates and malondialdehyde was observed, and on the 28th day an increase in the level of lipid peroxidation products was noted. The detected biochemical changes are evidence of the manifestation of adaptive and compensatory mechanisms aimed at maintaining homeostasis. The introduction of exogenous melatonin during the last 10 days of the experiment contributed to a decrease in the intensity of lipid peroxidation processes, which was confirmed by a decrease in the level of diene conjugates and malondialdehyde relative to the indicators of animals that were not exposed to the corrector. At the same time, the maximum approximation of the values to the norm was noted and no significant difference between the comparison groups was detected. Thus, melatonin, due to its antioxidant effects, is a potentially useful agent for reducing the manifestations of oxidative stress in the lungs of rats caused by the administration of cadmium chloride.
