Design of Distinctive Approach to Recognize Vocal Sentiment Using Automation

Within affective computing, vocal sentiment detection is a new field focusing on speech-based interpretation of human emotions. This work explores cutting-edge expert systems and audio processing techniques to increase the precision and consistency of sentiment detection from voice inputs. This paper examines a deep learning technique for audio file-based emotion identification is presented. In particular, characteristics from these audio files are extracted using a convolutional neural network (CNN) model, which then categorizes the data into 14 different emotions. Over 4,000 audio samples from four distinct sources—TESS, RAVDESS, SAVEE, and CREMA—are used to train the model. This approach improves emotion recognition accuracy by capturing strong and unique elements from audio sources. Experiments on publicly accessible datasets show that the model performs remarkably well recognizing various emotions, including neutrality, happiness, sorrow, and rage. The study also addresses difficulties with speaker variability in vocal emotion identification and cross-cultural variances. The results show significant gains over current techniques, highlighting the approach’s potential for use in emergency contact centres, customer service, security, lie detection, human-computer interaction, and mental health monitoring. The study proposes possible applications to other domains, including language detection and natural language generation (NLG). It lays the groundwork for future research in emotion detection and analysis. The findings of this research hold great promise for developing increasingly complex and human-like interactions between humans and technology.
