Design of Second-order Reconfigurable Negative Group Delay Circuit Based on Split Ring Resonator
A second-order reconfigurable negative group delay circuit based on the split ring resonator (SRR)is proposed in this paper, which achieves the reconfigurability of the center frequency and negative group delay peak value of the circuit by loading different capacitors and resistors. The circuit is designed to expand the bandwidth and improve the frequency response range by utilizing two series-connected SRR. At the same time, a matching circuit is loaded on the transmission line to optimize the return loss, thereby increasing the energy utilization efficiency of the circuit. Finally, the operating frequency range of the negative group delay circuit of the proposed circuit was controlled within 1.752GHz to 2.112GHz, with peak values of negative group delay range from 1.159ns to 4.496ns.
