Performance analysis of free space optical communication system in the presence of hardware and misalignment impairments using aperture averaging
Significant growth has been seen in expanding the worldwide optical communication system in free space (FSO). But despite the many benefits that FSO communication offers, there are several problems with how optical networks are designed. Aperture averaging is one of the most often used strategies for overcoming issues, including scattering, diffraction, turbulence, and other issues. The primary goal of this research is on aperture averaging, and bit error rate (BER) attainable objectives have been analyzed using Opti system software for a range of receiver data rates and aperture diameters.
