Assessment of Electromagnetic frequencies in Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology - sector 26 Chandigarh

With the increasing integration of electronic devices and wireless technologies in educational institutions, concerns about exposure to electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) have gained prominence. This study aims to assess EMF levels in various locations within a CCET (Degree Wing), Chandigarh college campus to evaluate potential exposure risks to students, faculty, and staff. The findings of this study will provide valuable insights into the EMF environment within college premises, identifying potential hotspots and areas of concern. The highest recorded value is 1.2v/m and the lowest recorded value is 0.1v/m. The most of the area in college showed reading in 0.1v/m to 1.2v/m. The EMF levels within the college campus fall within a relatively narrow range, with the highest recorded value still being well below internationally recognized safety limits.
