Polynomial-Based Kharitonov Theorem to Reduce the Non-Minimum Phase in High Gain Converters

The rising integration of renewable energy into traditional power systems has led to advancements in highvoltage gain boost converters. A notable development is a modified quadratic boost converter designed for solar PV modules, capable of achieving up to 400V for grid applications. This approach enhances voltage over traditional models by analyzing its performance in CCM and DCM modes. It addresses modeling inaccuracies and uncertainties using interval simulation and Kharitonov polynomials, despite potential variations in system characteristics. A reduced model order technique, the Routh-Padé approximation, is also applied to improve the converter's reliability.

Abstract

The rising integration of renewable energy into traditional power systems has led to advancements in highvoltage gain boost converters. A notable development is a modified quadratic boost converter designed for solar PV modules, capable of achieving up to 400V for grid applications. This approach enhances voltage over traditional models by analyzing its performance in CCM and DCM modes. It addresses modeling inaccuracies and uncertainties using interval simulation and Kharitonov polynomials, despite potential variations in system characteristics. A reduced model order technique, the Routh-Padé approximation, is also applied to improve the converter's reliability.
