Numerical Simulation and Analysis of Mulberry Orchard Intelligent Spraying Robot
When the intelligent spraying robot is carrying out in the mulberry orchard fields, the robot chassis will be subjected to random vibrationcaused by the road surface, which will affect its bearing and walking capacity. If the robot is working in the vibration environment for a long time, fatigue damage may occur to its chassis and connecting parts, even lead to fracture or failure, the structural strength of the robot chassis will be seriously affected. In order to solve the above issues, the numerical simulation and analysis of the robot chassis are carried out on the basis of the random vibration theory in this paper. Firstly, a finite element model of the robot chassis with perfect grid quality is constructed and then numerical simulation is performed based on the Abaqus and the Power Spectral Density (PSD) curve in the national standard. The simulation results are shown that some parts of the robot chassis failed to meet the $\mathbf{3 \sigma}$ strength check standard, so that there are areas of excessive stress resulting in weak strength. Secondly, the numerical analysis is done on the grounds of the simulation results, the analysis results indicate that the partial structural optimization should be done for the weak position of the robot chassis and run the simulation again. Finally, the numerical simulation and analysis results show that the equivalent root-mean-square stress (RMISES) value of the robot chassis has decreased by 76% after structural optimization, from 383.3 MPa to 91.33 MPa. It can be seen that the optimized intelligent spraying robot is more suitable for mulberry orchard environment.
