A Comparative Design Analysis of Different Radome Shapes for Horn Antenna
RADOMES are essential components in modern communication systems, providing protection for antennas against environmental factors such as rain, snow, and wind while preserving signal quality. This paper examines the design and performance of various radome shapes for horn antennas, focusing on their impact on the radiation pattern and overall signal integrity. Using CST Studio for simulation, the study explores how different radome configurations affect electromagnetic transparency and mechanical protection, aiming to minimize signal distortion, reflection, and absorption. The comparative analysis offers insights into optimizing radome designs to enhance antenna performance in applications such as aerospace, satellites, and ground-based systems.
