The energy sector is characterized by rapid tech-nological advancements, strict regulatory requirements, and increasing demands for operational excellence. Maintaining a competitive edge in this context requires efficient human resource management, especially when it comes to competence development. One of the biggest problems with managing staff skills at PT PLN Nusantara Power UPK Sebalang is the lack of efficient knowledge transfer methods and the frequent job rotations that employees experience. Reduced organizational productivity, inefficient competence certification, and lengthier adaption times are the results of these problems. Due to a lack of organized knowledge recording and systematic transmission of information, existing conventional training programs have not been able to close competency gaps. Consequently, the company's strategic framework needs a fresh strategy that incorporates knowledge management. One possible answer that has been considered in this research is a knowledge management system, or KMS. Employees can adjust to new responsibilities and assignments more quickly with the help of KMS, which offers a disciplined approach to managing and sharing information. Employee capabilities have been enhanced through the introduction of KMS, which leverages technology and promotes a culture of knowledge sharing. People in the energy industry are hoping that this method would help them improve their skills in a sustainable way.
