A Blockchain Editable Scheme with Dynamic Access Control

With the rise of blockchain technology, its inherent characteristics of decentralization, tamper resistance, and persistence have made it a crucial method for the persistence and storage of big data. However, considering that the data stored in the blockchain for a long time will face complex and changeable data usage scenarios, existing solutions can only partially achieve data editability and access revocation, often suffering from inefficiencies, serious key management problems, and lack of flexibility in access control strategies. This paper proposes a scheme that combines Chameleon Hashing with a timestamp update mechanism, integrated with efficient traceable attribute-based encryption with dynamic access control (TABE-DAC), to enable blockchain data editability and dynamic access control while retaining a certain degree of accountability. Finally, through simulation and performance analysis on the Ethereum test network, we demonstrate that our solution not only provides flexible control over the data but also enhances the system’s efficiency and security, making it well-suited for complex blockchain application scenarios.
