AI-Driven Innovations in Higher Education: Improving Lesson Planning and Teaching Quality at UABC
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education aims to enhance teaching methods. This approach emphasizes the significance of evaluating teaching practices and planning lessons, in line with the institution's competency assessment model. AI is explored as a tool for refining lesson planning, with proposed strategies to enhance teaching quality. The study conducted at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) demonstrates how AI can effectively organize educational presentations, thereby supporting a student-centered learning approach. It proposes that AI could revolutionize teaching by making it more accessible and engaging. Furthermore, the study recommends future research to improve lesson planning and teacher evaluation outcomes through the application of AI.
