Improved Accuracy of Rotor Position Estimation in PMSM Deadbeat Predictive Control Using ADALINE Network-Based Filter
This paper proposes a highly accurate rotor position estimation method based on deadbeat predictive control and sensorless control using current derivative values. Compared with PI control, deadbeat predictive control offers better dynamic performance but is more susceptible to harmonics. In this study, the rotor position estimation accuracy was improved by adaptively estimating and removing harmonic components superimposed on the current using ADALINE network-based filter. The simulation results showed that the proposed method reduced the number of rotor position estimation errors, and favorable results were obtained under varying velocities and sudden load fluctuations.
