Miniature Broadband Zero-Order Resonance Antenna for WiMAX Applications
As electronic devices continue to trend towards high integration and miniaturization, the available space for antennas is shrinking rapidly, posing a severe challenge to antenna design. It is imperative to achieve a significant reduction in physical size to meet the stringent requirements of practical application scenarios. This paper proposes a design for a miniaturized, broadband zero-order resonant antenna. By adopting an asymmetric grounded meander line structure, the antenna's bandwidth range is successfully broadened, and effective miniaturization of the antenna structure is achieved. Furthermore, the introduction of a stepped capacitance structure enables good impedance matching within the 3.3~4.9 GHz frequency band, with a radiation efficiency exceeding 90%. Therefore, it becomes an ideal choice for WiMAX wireless communication systems.
