Design of Wideband Filtering Power Divider With Fragment-Type Structure
In this paper, a compact wideband filtering power divider (FPD) with low loss and high frequency selectivity is proposed. The composite branches, which are composed of lumped elements and short-ended transmission lines, introduce transmission zeros (TZs) on both sides of the passband to produce broadband filtering characteristics, and the coupled lines generate additional transmission zeros to improve out-of-band suppression. A T-type isolation network consisting of a pair of resistors and a short-ended transmission line improves isolation. In order to realize the proposed design concept in a limited space, this paper uses the fragment-type structure (FTS) to implement partial topologies in the FPD. Based on the multi-objective optimization algorithm, the FTS is intelligently optimized and searched, and a compact broadband filtering power divider is designed, the design process is intelligent, and the layout simulation results are consistent with expectation.
