Semiglobal Finite-Time Boundary Control for Reaction-Diffusion Systems
In this paper, semiglobal and global finite-time stabilization for a class of nonlinear reaction-diffusion systems are investigated, where both Neumann boundary condition and mix boundary condition are considered. A unified boundary controller is employed to reach semiglobal finite-time stabilization with prescribed semiglobal bound for the systems, and the settling time is estimated. This is done by employing the Lyapunov analysis method and utilizing the Wirtinger’s inequality. Finally, an illustrative example is given, and the obtained theoretical result is verified by numerical simulations.
