Research on Optimization of Energy Storage Configuration With Reliability Constraints
Aiming at the serious challenge of power system reliability, an optimal load-cutting model is established which takes into account the regulation of short-term discharge of energy storage. Energy storage can provide power support for the system for a short time, but its output is limited by capacity and upper limit. It is difficult to express the relationship between it and load reduction. To quantify the reliability improvement level of energy storage configuration, the sensitivity between the two is expanded into equality and inequality constraint sensitivity, and the state variable is taken as the intermediate variable. Finally, the sensitivity of expected demand not supplied to energy storage capacity and output upper limit is proposed. To balance the construction cost and reliability requirements of energy storage, an energy storage configuration optimization model with reliability constraints is proposed, which simplifies the reliability constraints based on the sensitivity results and avoids repeated calculations. The simulation results verify the correctness of the analytical expression of sensitivity, and the proposed optimization model can be used to guide the rational allocation of energy storage power stations and improve the reliability of the power system.
