Electrostatic invisibility cloak with anisotropic material

Abstract This paper introduced a novel constitutive relation for designing anisotropic material-based electrostatic invisibility cloaks, independent of both the medium parameters and the geometric shape of the cloaked target. The results demonstrated that employing positive and negative refractive index materials generated cancellation and illusion cloaks, respectively. To realize the required dielectric properties, we employed equivalent medium theory, which revealed that these specialized materials can be synthesized using doping techniques. This study provides valuable insights into the design of novel cloaking systems for static electromagnetic fields and opens new possibilities for the development of versatile, universal cloaks that can hide objects regardless of their size, shape, or material properties.
