El género en el currículo de ciencias sociales colombiano desde un enfoque decolonial
This article aims to trace the possible colonial representations of gender included in the official Colombian curriculum for the area of social sciences in basic and secondary education, and explain them from a decolonial feminist approach. For this purpose, a documentary research strategy was implemented, based on the critical analysis of two official guidelines (Basic Learning Rights and Basic Competence Standards) and fifteen textbooks from three recognized publishers in Colombia, corresponding to grades 1 to 11. For the analysis of the texts, the categories of gender coloniality, patriarchy, Eurocentrism, and intersectionality were previously identified. Also some indicators that functioned as units of registration and analysis identifiable in the context units were formulated. The analysis of these categories in the aforementioned texts shows that there have been great advances that seek to project representations of equity, interculturality, and inclusion. However, there is less progress on the approach of intersectionality.
