Multi-Component Mixed Oil with Transformer Typical Material Compatibility Analysis
Mixed insulation oil can complement the performance advantages of different oils and can be directly applied to existing mineral oil transformers without changing the transformer structure, which is an important development direction of high voltage and large capacity transformers. The compatibility study of mixed insulation oil and typical transformer materials has important significance for transformer design and operation. In this paper, we investigated the compatibility of multi-component mixed oil (MCMO) with typical transformer materials, and analyzed the changes in color, viscosity, relative dielectric constant, dielectric loss factor, volume resistivity, breakdown voltage, acid value, and interfacial tension parameters of MCMO before and after thermal aging. The results show that the MCMO has good compatibility with iron block, silicon steel sheet, enameled wire and epoxy plate, and the MCMO showed remarkable stability in kinematic viscosity, relative dielectric constant and breakdown voltage. But it has some compatibility problem with nitrile rubber.
