Research on Wireless Battery Management System Based on Bluetooth
With the rapid increase in the use of electric vehicles and renewable energy storage systems, the demand for batteries has also increased. These systems require more efficient and intelligent battery management technologies to optimize battery performance and extend battery life. The traditional wired Battery Management System design is complex and requires a large number of data transmission lines to communicate with the battery pack. In response to the problem of complex communication wiring harnesses in battery management systems, this paper designs a wireless battery management system (WBMS) based on Bluetooth star network, which controls and manages battery packs through wireless communication via Bluetooth, replacing wired communication and reducing wiring harnesses. Considering the high cost and efficiency issues of traditional battery balancing methods, this paper proposes a wireless reconfigurable balancing method that uses the switching characteristics of MOSFETs instead of traditional equalizers to achieve battery balancing
