A Method for Detecting Zero Sequence Current of Single-phase Grounding Faults in Low Current Grounding Systems
The traditional zero sequence current detection method is affected by the natural frequency of the power system, and there are certain errors in zero sequence current detection. For this purpose, a zero sequence current detection method for single-phase grounding faults in low current grounding systems was designed. Extract the zero sequence current characteristics of single-phase grounding faults and determine the fault current mode of the transmission line based on current fluctuations. Detect the transient zero mode current component of grounding faults in low current grounding systems, and detect the transient zero mode current component of grounding faults in low current grounding systems at the highest peak grounding voltage to avoid the influence of frequency on current detection. Through simulation experiments, it has been verified that the detection results of this method have high accuracy and can be applied in practical engineering.
