Integration of Electrochemical Energy Storage Systems in Coal Mines: An Information Science and Computer Technology Approach to Strategic Safety Optimization
This paper explores the strategic integration of high-capacity lithium-ion batteries within coal mining operations, addressing significant safety challenges such as fire risks in underground environments. Employing information science and computer technology, we develop a bi-level optimization model that enhances safety and operational efficiency. The upper-level model strategically places safety facilities like refuge chambers and emergency exits, considering factors like cost, risk, and capacity. The lower-level model optimizes evacuation routes influenced by these placements. A simulation approach validates our model, demonstrating improved emergency evacuation strategies and minimized risks in various scenarios. This study exemplifies how advancements in electrochemical energy storage can be effectively incorporated into mining safety protocols, leveraging computational techniques to tackle the unique hazards of modern energy technologies in mining.
