Study on Lightning Performance of UHV Project in High Altitude Area
In this study, the characteristics of lightning parameters along a typical high-altitude UHV (Ultra High Voltage) transmission project are statistically analyzed, and the distribution law of lightning activity and a series of key lightning parameters along the line are obtained. According to the lightning activity characteristics and engineering design conditions of the line corridor in typical high-altitude areas, the lightning performance simulation analysis of 1000 kV transmission lines and substations along the line in high altitude areas is carried out based on the electromagnetic transient simulation program. The lightning trip-out rate level along the high-altitude areas and the whole line of the project and the lightning invasion wave overvoltage level of 1000 kV substations in high-altitude areas are obtained. Finally, the arrangement method of arrester in 1000 kV substation is put forward, and the lightning protection design scheme of the whole project and the insulation coordination scheme of the equipment in the station are checked. The research results provide technical support for engineering design and safe operation.
