CARDIAC TISSUE ABLATION USING A MINIATURIZED SMART ELECTROPORATION SYSTEM

This paper reports a novel miniaturized electroporation system. The system is more than 10 times lighter than traditional electroporators, and much more convenient to operate thanks to adaptation of state-of-the-art integrated circuit and wireless communication technologies.High intensity electric pulses have been conducted to the myocardium of a rat's heart, proving the validity of using such a system for synthetic biology research.

Abstract

This paper reports a novel miniaturized electroporation system. The system is more than 10 times lighter than traditional electroporators, and much more convenient to operate thanks to adaptation of state-of-the-art integrated circuit and wireless communication technologies.High intensity electric pulses have been conducted to the myocardium of a rat's heart, proving the validity of using such a system for synthetic biology research.
