Optimization Scheduling Model for Power Grids Considering Stability Constraints of HVDC
With the extensive deployment of HVDC systems, ensuring the reliability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness of the receiving-end power grid has become a significant challenge. To address these challenges, an optimized scheduling model for the power grid is proposed, incorporating stability constraints associated with large-scale HVDC injection. Additionally, a power optimization framework for HVDC interconnection lines is introduced, which combines the objectives of clean energy adoption and economic performance for both the sending-end and receiving-end grids. By fine-tuning and regulating HVDC power, the model concurrently ensures the efficient operation of the source-side power grid, the security and reliability of the destination-side power grid, and the fulfillment of clean energy integration requirements. The efficiency and reliability of the developed model are validated through the use of real-world operational data from a local power grid.
