Maritime Long-distance Communication System Assisted by UAV-RIS Based on AE-SD3 Algorithm
The advancement of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and reconfigurable intelligence surface (RIS) technologies have propelled maritime communication, however constrained by the onboard energy limitations of UAVs. In response, we propose a UAV-RIS-aided maritime communication system tailored for long-range communications. This system utilizes the adaptive exploration of the softmax deep double deterministic policy gradients algorithm (AE-SD3) as its core mechanism to ensure the optimization of energy harvesting efficiency (EE), while simultaneously meeting the quality requirements for user communication services. AE-SD3 algorithm jointly optimizes the transmit power of the base station (BS) and the reflective phase shift of the RIS to maximize EE. The findings from the simulation demonstrate that the above scheme enhances EE by over 12% compared to existing methods.
