Research on binocular vision measurement method based on digital image correlation
Digital Image Correlation (DIC) method is an optical measurement technique based on surface image data of objects, which has the advantages of non-contact, full field measurement, and low environmental requirements. This article proposes a 3D measurement method based on 3D-DIC and builds the corresponding software system. Studied the basic theories of binocular vision measurement and camera calibration, including imaging models, image matching, 3D reconstruction, and displacement measurement. To improve the accuracy of corner detection, an improved algorithm based on Harris corner detection is proposed. The effectiveness of the system and algorithm was verified through three-dimensional reconstruction and displacement measurement experiments of cylindrical specimens, and the calculated results were consistent with the actual situation.
