Design and experimental testing of solar UAVS for low altitude and long endurance
This paper discourses the introductory design of a solar unmanned aerial vehicle of low-altitude long-endurance for multiple-day breakouts. The current design is to perform monitoring, hunting, and deliverance operations, and for the delivery purposes of medications, food items, etc. The preliminary design was developed to concentrate on energy operation and flying for further hours for the aircraft to be light. Solar energy is one of the unlimited available renewable powers that can be used to increase the abidance of unmanned aerial vehicles without adding significant mass or adding the size of the energy system. The assessment of solar power availability, designing the unmanned aerial vehicle for long-range breakouts, and calculating the electrical power and energy balance of the unmanned aerial vehicle are some of the factors that are taken into account.
