Causal Analysis of Concrete Cracks in Sewage Treatment Plant Based on FTA-RST
Sewage treatment plants play a critical role in urban environments and public health. Concrete cracks within these facilities can lead to water leakage and structural damage, ultimately affecting treatment efficiency and the quality of discharged water. Therefore, this research utilizes a hybrid methodology, integrating Fault Tree Analysis and Rough Set Theory (FTA-RST) to systematically analyze the causes of concrete cracking in sewage treatment plants. Firstly, FTA identifies the factors contributing to concrete cracking. Then, RST handles the complexity and uncertainty of sewage treatment facility data, extracting key influencing indicators. The proposed FTA-RST framework facilitates a comprehensive exploration of potential causes of concrete cracking, enabling precise structural risk assessment and ensuring the long-term safety and functionality of sewage treatment plants.
