Planning for Public Cultural Facilities in the Municipal Area from the Perspective of Territory Planning

Public cultural facilities represent a critical component within the tapestry of urban development, and in their capacity to articulate the essence of a city’s identity, the strategic planning and meticulous formulation of these amenities assume a heightened significance. Taking Lufeng City as a case, the study analyzes the development of urban cultural facilities in light of the current situation of urban development, proposes objectives and principles for improving the special planning of public cultural facilities, puts forward preparation strategies in planning, and clarifies guidelines for the spatial layout. Focused on the connection between municipal special planning for public cultural facilities and territory planning, this paper puts forward flexible and whole-process mechanisms. The research results can provide a reference for the preparation of special planning for public cultural facilities at the municipal level, especially in county-level cities.
