Problems of Reception and Interpretation of Alexey Parshchikov’s Lyrics
The article examines the relationship between cultural, philosophical and aesthetic attitudes with the poetics of the Alexey Parshchikov’s poems. A hermeneutic analysis and holistic interpretation of several representative poems of the poet are offered (“Cat Romance”, “Catfish”, “Oh, Garden of My Friends...”, “Elegy” etc.). The problem of the difficulty of perceiving and interpreting the meaning of the texts of the metarealist poet is solved by using a balance between the rationalistic deciphering of metabolas (using various cultural codes) and intuitive empathy with the suggestive images of his poetic world.
