Evaluating Resident Satisfaction in Urban Village Reconstruction in Tourist Cities from the Perspective of Perceived Value: A Case Study of Sanya City, China
Reconstructing and developing urban villages, often traditional residential areas, is of utmost importance for tourist cities. The lack of development planning and management has resulted in numerous predicaments like environmental pollution and traffic congestion. Nonetheless, designing and executing reconstruction projects requires accurately assessing residents’ satisfaction, which is a crucial issue. To ensure the sustainable development of urban villages in tourist cities, this study aims to construct a satisfaction evaluation method based on the theory of perceived value. Firstly, the entropy weight method is employed to determine the weights of each indicator, and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to establish an evaluation model for measuring resident satisfaction. Secondly, the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method is utilized to classify the indicators, in order to further clarify the value orientation objectives for enhancing resident satisfaction. Finally, taking an urban village reconstruction project in Sanya City as an example, the operability of the model is validated, providing effective methodological support for the smooth progress of similar projects.
