Knowledge and Education in Sociology: Contact, Conflict, Consensus
One of the topical issues of modern sociological knowledge and education is the problem of their interrelation. The article analyzes it from two positions: firstly, from the positions of knowledge and education itself, taken separately and together; secondly, from the positions of the subjects of educational knowledge — academic staff and students. A historical overview of the formation of the problem under consideration is given. The interpretation of two types of sociological knowledge is given — educational and scientific-educational, their specificity in sociology is emphasized. Attention is drawn to the types of relations between academic staff and students to the educational knowledge of sociology — through their motivation and real interactions. The phases of this interaction are revealed: contact — conflict — consensus. The role of this interaction in creating the conditions necessary for the formation of educational and scientific-educational knowledge of sociology is emphasized.
