The Relationship between Corporate Financialization and Financial Risk: Empirical Evidence Based on Listed Companies in the Real Estate Industry
In the real estate industry, there is uncertainty in the relationship between corporate financialization and financial risk; this paper selects listed companies and financial data in the real estate industry from 2011 to 2023 to empirically study the relationship between the two. It is found that the degree of enterprise financialization becomes higher, and then the financial risk faced by the enterprise is higher. Therefore, this paper proposes that the financial risk brought by corporate financialization can be constrained by rational allocation of financial assets, improving financial regulation and promoting financial technology innovation.
