Improved Fuzzy Evaluation Method for Safety Risk Assessment in Prefabricated Building Construction
As science and technology advance, buildings now serve purposes beyond mere shelter, with an increased focus on aesthetics, quality, and environmental impact during construction. Prefabricated construction offers greener and faster alternatives to traditional methods, reducing potential safety hazards. However, its industrialized process introduces new safety concerns due to complex technologies and standardized production. Current safety controls used in traditional construction are insufficient for prefabricated methods, necessitating enhanced safety management. This study addresses these complexities by designing a comprehensive safety risk evaluation index system for prefabricated construction. We develop a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and an improved weight optimization calculation method, replacing the subjective Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). By leveraging various algorithms, our model aims to provide more objective and precise safety risk assessments, thereby informing better management strategies for prefabricated construction.
