Pushover Experiment on Low Rise Double-Sided Precast Concrete Composite Sandwich Shear Wall Structure
The double-sided precast concrete composite sandwich shear walls are applied to low-rise green rural houses, with the construction of shear wall edge component simplified. Pushover experiment of a full-size two-story precast composite sandwich shear wall structure was carried out, and load-displacement curve, bearing capacity, and ductility of the structure were obtained to study its seismic performance and failure mode. The test results show that the structure meets the requirement of “no damage under minor earthquake, no collapse under rare earthquake.” The structural failure is concentrated on the first floor, and the failure characteristics are wall cracking and local crushing. When reaching the ultimate load, the corner wall still bore load as a whole, without vertical reinforcement bulging out and large area concrete crushing, which indicates that simplified construction of the wall edge component is feasible. After the structure reaches the peak load, the load slowly decreases with the increase of displacement, and its ductility coefficient is 3.49.
