Optimization Analysis of Procurement Cost for Prefabricated Components Based on JIT Mode
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China aims to establish a framework for the high-quality development of the construction industry. The levels of industrialization, digitization, and intelligence in construction are set to significantly improve. There will be a strong focus on promoting prefabricated buildings, establishing standardized design and production systems for prefabricated buildings, advancing the intelligent upgrading of production and construction, expanding the use of standardized components and parts, and enhancing the overall efficiency of prefabricated buildings. The main bottleneck hindering the widespread adoption of prefabricated buildings lies in cost issues. This article proposes the creation of a Just-In-Time (JIT) procurement model based on the characteristics of prefabricated buildings, aiming to determine the optimal transportation batch through JIT procurement calculations under the lowest cost scenario for both suppliers, ultimately optimizing the procurement costs of prefabricated buildings.
