Parametric analysis of high voltage circuits boosting methods for multipoint fuze

The boosting circuit in the multipoint fuze is the key to the conversion of the fuze from the safe state to the ready-to-fire state, and the parameters of the boosting circuit are important parameters in the development process of the fuze. In this paper, we study the working principle of flyback converter, analyze the boosting process for two kinds of high voltage circuits of multipoint fuzes, verify the correctness of the theory based on Cadence simulation, and compare the two kinds of boosting circuits. Multipoint fuze boost circuit with shared flyback converter boosts to 1550kV in 5s with resistance 18MΩ, and Multipoint fuze boost circuit with shared voltage source boosts to 1600kV in 1.5s with resistance 4.5MΩ, and the latter boost speed is faster. Multipoint fuze boost circuit with shared flyback converter requires a maximum of 23A, Multipoint fuze boost circuit with shared voltage source requires a maximum of 48A, the latter has higher requirements for the power module and overall power supply of the boost circuit. The secondary side inductance of flyback converter has a great influence on the maximum current. The problem of large current can be solved by changing the secondary side inductance of flyback converter.
