PHILOSOPHICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE TRANSLATION PROBLEM: GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Translation in the narrow sense consists in expressing the meaning of one language in another language. Language is a carrier of meaning, and translation focuses on meaning. However, the above argument immediately raised a deep philosophical question - what is the relationship between the medium and the meaning? In particular, it is a question of whether the value is a carrier, and speech is a carrier of meaning. It is a metaphor or just a model that allows us to understand the relationship between meaning and language. In this model, meaning and language are two different objects that can be separated. The former is related to the latter, with the former being abstract and the latter being concrete. Such philosophical questions are widespread. The methodological basis of the research was philosophical works revealing the dialogical nature of translation activities; research on the philosophy of education; works in the field of text understanding; as well as research by philosophers in the field of ethnic culture and communication.
